Cruise Countdown: 43 days

We are less than 2 months from our trip to Hell, I mean SEA, and I had hoped to have dropped a few lbs by now. I guess that's hard to do when you are still eating as much and not exercising. I might as well just admit that I have a little shopping to do between then and now.

Here's what I know about the trip, and it's not a lot.

We have 8 family members on the roster: Me & Chip, Kim (SIL) & David (BIL), Matt (nephew: 21), Jewell (MIL) & Jim (FIL), and Aunt Mabel. Jamie (Niece) & Phil (her husband) can't make it because they are expecting a baby in February. (Quite the plan you two, I wish I had thought of it! Then again, maybe not)

We are driving to Raleigh, NC on Friday 11/21 and then flying to Ft. Lauderdale on Saturday AM. We cruise for 7 days and hopefully all return in on piece on Saturday 10/29. I will try really hard to blog from the boat, under the cloak of darkness, but can't promise.

One of the on-board activities is a chance to visit the ship’s engine control room, medical center, print shop, laundry, photo lab, bridge and other areas... for only $150. Dead God, please let there be more than THAT!

I know that the boat has 900 staterooms and somehow allows for 3,080-passengers. Ew. That's a-wholatta people.

The ships God Parents shall be Trista Sutter and Ryan Sutter, who will christen her prior to the maiden voyage. Remember them? From the Bachelor show? Yeah, me either. Our voyage will be the 2nd for the boat and its crew, which means that everything will still be brand-spankin' new. I love that!

We'll be stopping at Jamaica's Ocho Rios, Grand Cayman, Cozumel and Princess Cays, Princess' private Bahamian island. I may, or may not return. Stay tuned.
