Like every other day, this day could not be without drama. You know, I'd be tempted to wish for a drama-free 2008, but that may result in my own death. That is the only way that I can escape it. Having said that, I am really surrounded by other people's drama (now to be known as OPD) so I really should not be complaining.
This AM, we woke-up ready to scour the beach to find a motor home. Not a real one that you drive around in, a small toy, or an ornament would have been fine. Mo is always talking about how she wants to buy a motor home and travel around the US with the family. The family includes her, Pop, Mable and Chip... 'cause I have a full time job, baby! WOO HOO! Oh, did I just say that out loud? Please forgive me.
In early December, Chip actually ordered one online, but it never came. DRAT. Anywhoopiedo, there are no toy or ornamental motor homes on the beach. Anywhere. Don't bother trying.
The 2nd issue popped-up when we began our discussion on what do to for Christmas Eve dinner. I, for one, wanted to go out. That's a no-brainer because I always want to go out. I saw a nice meal at Owen's in my future, but no. As it turns out, I have plans to go to church at 5 and Mo & Pop have plans to go at 7. That equals no one is at one place during dinner time except Chip & Mable. So then I try to rearrange, then Mo says she's not going to church and blagh blagh blagh. It's 3:00 now. I have no idea who is doing what or when.
Typical :-) Merry Christmas Eve.
