OK. Here i‘tis… the new addition to the Almoney family. This beach box (a 1-story house on pilings) will be Aunt Mabel’s ours on October 8th. It’s a 4BR/2BA cottage in Nags Head, facing the Beach Road. (If you’ve ever here, you know there are only 2 roads: The Highway and the Beach Road) It’s only 5 miles away from where we live, so we can keep a steady eye on it.
Almost all of the furniture has to go, but we’ve already ordered a new couch, a coffee table & end table, and a TV stand, purchased a big ass flat screen TV, 2 Queen sized mattresses, and had about a zillion arguments over it.
I know when it’s all over everything will be just great. Until then, yay for us.
