Bank of Currituck to Post “No Hats, Hoods, Knit Caps, Sunglasses” Signs to Deter Bank Robbers
"On Feb 2, 2009, the Currituck Bank will institute a new policy that prohibits customers and visitors in the bank from wearing hats, hoods, knit caps and sunglasses. Bank employees will ask anyone not complying with the policy to leave the bank in an effort to discourage bank robberies. Details of the new policy will be displayed on signs and posters at all six branches of the bank, located in Moyock, Camden, Grandy, Corolla, Kill Devil Hills and Southern Shores."
REALLY? Is that all it takes to stop a bank robber? WHO KNEW?
