I decided to start a list.
NOTES TO CONSIDER:
- My MIL is taking injections for her diabetes. She also took injections of something that was supposed to increase her calcium for bone strength. This has been going on for a LONG TIME. At least a few years.
- Spud, my in-laws’ Jack Russell Terrier has also been diagnosed with canine diabetes and has been taking injections every day for almost a year.
- In our household, we are no strangers of injections and syringes and such.
OK, having said that, this is one of the reasons I am crazy:
Last night at dinner, my FIL says, nonchalantly, “Hey, do you think its OK to put all the needles in the trash?”
WTF.

it is ok if he puts them in a heavy plastic or metal container (coffee can) and tapes it shut
