Yeah, I Got Nuttin'

What a wacko, weirdo day. It is fa-fa-fa-reezing. The thermostat in the house says it’s 65 degrees. I chiseled myself out of my nice, warm bed and decided it was too cold to be naked while getting into the shower. Right now it’s 5:00 (pm) and I haven’t showered yet. ‘Know what? Don’t care.

I whipped up a little b’fast for Mabes this morning, and I had a nice cup of tea in my new, handmade mug from The Dancing Turtle Cafe in Hatteras. It made it taste that much better… well, that and the fact that it was HOT!

I spent HOURS packing-up my summer clothes, and shoes, and purses, and crap. I spent way too much time organizing the storage closet so that I could find room to put the stuff I just at packed. I have to admit, I am bitter that the family has piled so much crap in there. It’s everywhere. Piles and piles of… well… crap. Do we really need a 2’ tall plastic freakin’ pumpkin that won’t see the light of day this Halloween? I think not.

For lunch, I had a 1/2 a thingy of Italian Wedding soup that I didn’t really like. I ate a bag of rice chips that were delish and salty. I had another hot cup of tea in my super duper new mug. I like the way it feels in my hands. I spent a little time wishing that I had taken the time to shower so I could brave the cold and drive up to Starbucks for a Pumpkin Latte because the one I got at Dunkin Donuts was gritty – why would that happen? Blech.

I’m about to make a yummy dinner. Steaks, roasted potatoes, spinach, and asparagus (I’m veggie loading). I know I should skip the starch, and probably the meat. I have a fear in the back of my head that all of my winter pants are going to be too tight. I need to move my body.

Tomorrow.

Right now, I need to find some socks.
