Cruisin' Day 1: Saturday

OK, lots to say, no time to say it. The good ole' Internet cafe on board is $55.00 for 100 minutes, that was the least expensive plan so I'll need to budget my time... if I can remember how to logon. Since we are in International waters, all of the text in blogspot (my host) is in Greek or something. Also, right now I can't upload any photos (or the hysterical video I shot of Aunt Mabel) but I'll keep trying. I know, I'm sad, too. the pictures really do tell the story.

Here's a quickie recap for inquiring minds:

The 5 of us, the KDH group, was up at 4:30 this AM. We had packing issues, trnasportation issues, wheelchair issues, attitude issues, and more unanswerable questions that I can count... "What's the name of our Captain? What time are we eating? What do the rooms look like????" It was driving me batty. ...

The rooms are bigger than I thought. We have a little fridge, safe, decent size bathroom, and great, private view. Well, private if we lock-up the little doors that separate the balcony space.

Matthew, Chip's nephew, was the only one who had luggage issues, but he's squared now.

Our 2 formal nights will be Sunday and Thursday. Other than that, we're winging it, which so far, hasn't really payed off. We've already had lunch & dinner at the same place. WHY? I haven't the slightest idea, but I'm trying to lay low.

Just know that we are all, at this point, still on board. More to come ...
