The World Wide Web is a crazy, funny, interesting, insightful and sometimes creepy place. Every now and then I stumble on something that strikes my fancy and I become a stalker, I mean lurker, I mean fan.
One such site is http://www.postsecrets.com/. Here's the gist of it- you write your deepest secret on a postcard and mail it to an address. PostSecret then posts the actual post card on their site for other people to read. Some people find comfort in knowing that others have the same secret. Some reconnect with lost children. Some vent their frustrations. It's amazing.
Today I found a new site, http://ifoundyourcamera.blogspot.com/. I'm telling you! This is the silliest thing! People all over the world find cameras or memory cards, post a few of the pictures with a brief description of where they found it. If it's YOURS, they'll send it back to you!
Just when you think that mankind is slipping into the muck, we find people who care enough to TRY. Can we ask for more than that??
