I know it's been a while since I've updated by blog. Part of the issue is that I have recently become addicted to Facebook. I have had more fun with this site than I could have imagined!
To top that off, I am injured. REALLY injured. The doctor's diagnosis is golfer's AND tennis elbow. The chiropractor thinks it's a pinched nerve. The massage therapist said that "everything feels, well, bad." I can't get in to the orthopedic dude until next Wednesday. I havn't yet tried voo-doo. If you're an expert, call me. I'll try anything.
It started with a crampy muscle pain in my back. By the end of the day, it had stretched down into my elbow. The top of my elbow, the bottom, the INSIDE of my elbow... it all ached terribly. I have tried heat, cold, muscle relaxers, anti-inflamatories, and am now getting quite comfortable with the Vicadin. I'm in my 3rd week with the pain, and this AM woke-up to a tingling that made me want to cry.
Luckily, I am able to take my mind off of the pain by going to work, cooking, cleaning, and laundry. Hurray for me.
Other news in a nutshell, Chip's parents are still in MD. Mable finally had her hearing checked and has 50% hearing loos in each ear. Hopefully a hearing aid will help so I don't have to listen to our favorite shows from the driveway. The dogs are good. Chip is good. Now I wanna' be good.
To get that started, I'm heading to the counch with my ice pack. See ya!

Dear Colleen, your mom said that you would not mind if I wrote to you. I love reading your blog!! For the pain that you are in, I recommend that you go to www.mercola.com- Dr. Mercola is someone I highly respect and follow- I also buy many of his products. Anyway, he recommends Dr. Gary Craig's EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique)- As a matter of fact, you can see a video of Dr, Gary Craig's EFT in YouTube- I hope you feel better real soon- EFT works for so many things. ;-) Grace
Hi Col:
Cheryl Blankenship is an AWESOME acupuncturist at the women's center (next to the old OBX Steakhouse). She really helped me with my chronic pain. Hope you feel better - I know how debilitating it can be. Hugs. Barbara
