There are a few reasons for this, which I will detail in it's entirety, to fully illustrate why I am a slacker. Let us begin.
1. The iPad is not long-blog-writing friendly. I have to make the screen huge so I can see it, and when I go back to try and proof read I see all of my typos and get frustrated. I miss my laptop.
2. The job is kicking my ass in all the good ways and some of the not so good ways. I am challenged daily (good way). No day is the same (good way). I have combined a lot of the people that I work with that I have mad service skills and have tricked them into thinking I am awesome (good way). My boss sent my mom an e-mail, where I believe he thanked her for my aforementioned mad skills (good way). Each night I come home I am totally exhausted to the point I can barely function (not so good way). We have decided that we NEED to have drinks after work each Saturday, in anticipation of a craptastic day (not so good way). Since my start date in late April, I have worked almost every day off (not so good way).
3. Aunt Mabel's recent trip back to the hospital took a toll on everyone, especially Chip. She is totally fine, but her lack of back end activity has me worried. This is not something I enjoy investigating.
4. My FIL is, well, um... He has a new LD GF and she us coming to stay in his home, which is our home, for too many days next month. I have recommended that my husband run away so he doesn't have to see his father with someone else. I mentioned grief counseling, and he said, "For who?" She shoots, she misses.
5. It is the end of June and I have zero tan, and I live at the beach. I should be outside, but the Forrest fire that's burning has us in a cloud of smoke. P U. Disclaimer, that really has nothing to do with it, because I'm usually working.
6. I fear that my recent blogs have been too depressing, so I am holding out for something funny... It hasn't come yet.
Well, that's enough insight for now. I promise you (Carol) that I will make time for this again. As soon as I take care of all the crap that's above.
